白斑胡鲶

<em>Clarias albopunctatus</em>, the white-spotted catfish, is a member of the family Clariidae found in freshwater systems of Central and West Africa. Like other clariid catfishes, this species possesses a labyrinth organ allowing it to breathe atmospheric air, enabling survival in poorly oxygenated, stagnant, or shallow water bodies including swamps, floodplains, ponds, and slow rivers. It reaches a maximum recorded length of approximately 19.5 cm. Details of habitat and range for this species remain limited in the ichthyological literature beyond its general placement within African freshwater systems.
