소개
A barnacle blenny from the Eastern Pacific with a characteristic elongated head. Inhabits barnacle shells on rocky reef crests from the Gulf of California to Ecuador. Males guard eggs.

Coloration
Pale brownish to tan body with irregular dark brown mottling and pale patches; head with pale and dark interdigitating markings; a small Eastern Pacific blenny with cryptic reef coloration; fins banded.

Eastern Pacific from the Gulf of California and Pacific coast of Mexico south to Ecuador, including the Revillagigedo, Clipperton, and Galápagos island groups. Inhabits rocky reef crevices and barnacle patches to about 20 m.
