A small bitterling from freshwater streams of the Korean Peninsula. Like other bitterlings, uses freshwater mussels as a host for egg deposition. Critically endangered in South Korea due to habitat loss.
Habitat & Distribution
Freshwater streams and rivers of the Korean Peninsula. Obligate brood parasite of freshwater mussels; inhabits slow to moderately flowing streams with mussel beds.
