A tricolored freshwater bream from Syrian river systems with distinctive three-color pattern. Inhabits slow to moderately flowing freshwater in the Levant region. Part of the highly endemic Middle Eastern freshwater fauna.
Habitat & Distribution
The Orontes and Litani river systems in Syria and Lebanon. Inhabits fresh to slightly brackish water in Mediterranean-climate river habitats.
