<em>Bembras adenensis</em> is a saltwater fish of the family Bembridae, a small family of Indo-Pacific flatheads found in marine environments. This species reaches a maximum recorded length of approximately 25 cm and has been documented at depths down to approximately 225 metres, indicating a benthic or demersal lifestyle on the continental shelf and upper slope. Members of the family Bembridae are typically bottom-dwelling predators with flattened heads and bodies, relying on camouflage among sandy or gravelly seabed substrates to ambush small fishes and invertebrates. The species name "adenensis" refers to Aden, suggesting the species was originally described from the Gulf of Aden region. <em>Bembras adenensis</em> is thus distributed in the western Indian Ocean.
