阿尔巴尼亚魮

The Albanian barbel, <em>Luciobarbus albanicus</em>, is a freshwater cyprinid in the family Cyprinidae, native to river systems in the western Balkan Peninsula, principally in Albania and surrounding drainages. Adults can attain lengths of up to approximately 60 cm and weights of up to 3 kg, making this species one of the larger rheophilic cyprinids in its native range. Members of the genus <em>Luciobarbus</em> are typically associated with clean, fast-flowing rivers and streams with gravel or rocky substrates, where they feed on benthic invertebrates, algae, and organic detritus. <em>Luciobarbus albanicus</em> is a recognised game fish, targeted by local anglers using natural baits such as worms, maggots, and plant-based baits in its native rivers. Details of habitat and range for this species remain limited in the ichthyological literature beyond its general Balkan distribution. Conservation status is not formally evaluated at the international level.
